Brokis Overlay Double - pendant light defined by clean geometry

Designed by Lucie Koldova, the Brokis Overlay Double pendant light explores the interplay of geometric form, material and texture. Two blown glass tubes enclose softly illuminated matte light sources, creating a refined sense of depth and visual lightness. Each is set within a sculptural concrete fixture containing recycled glass fragments from Janštejn Glassworks, giving the design a distinctive material character. Suspended on slender wire ropes, the composition appears to float beneath the ceiling.

Available in transparent, smoke grey, amber and olive green glass, with glossy or acid-etched surfaces, Overlay Double offers a choice of white, natural or anthracite concrete. The finishes can be combined to create individual compositions. Its architectural presence makes it a striking feature above dining tables and kitchen islands, as well as in reception areas, galleries and contemporary hospitality interiors. Pair it with the Overlay Double wall light for a cohesive lighting scheme.

Lucie Koldova

Lucie Koldova is a celebrated Czech designer renowned for her work in product and furniture design, particularly in lighting. Her collaboration with the lighting brand Brokis began in 2010 with the creation of the iconic Muffins and Balloons collections, which she designed during her time in Paris. Since 2014, Koldova has served as Brokis's art director, where her creative vision has significantly influenced the brand’s identity and product range. In 2018, Koldova gained international recognition as the first Czech designer invited to create the Das Haus installation for imm cologne. This prestigious showcase featured her distinctive lighting collections, including Puro Sparkle, Ivy, Big One, and Jack O’Lantern, each exemplifying her mastery in blending artistic elegance with functional design. Known for her innovative approach, Koldova’s work with Brokis and beyond highlights her ability to marry bold aesthetics with thoughtful craftsmanship, making her a leading figure in contemporary design.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Delivery times vary depending on the manufacturer. For each item, you can find the estimated delivery time on its product page. Please note that these timelines are provided by our suppliers and are only estimates. While we always aim to meet them, Luminesy cannot be held responsible for delays or any costs that may result from such delays.

When you receive your order, please check it immediately for any damage and report it back to us within 48 hours, so in the unlikely case it has been damaged during shipping, we can claim compensation and send you a replacement.

For some particularly large or bulky items that exceed regular shipping size limits, the precise shipping cost can be harder to estimate in advance. These orders are shipped with a special carrier, depending on the destination. If we notice that the actual shipping cost significantly exceeds the initially estimated cost shown at checkout, we may need to ask for an additional fee.
