Schwung Home Lighting – ein Lichtkonzept, das Ästhetik und Qualität durch Materie verbindet.
Seit 2014 sorgt Schwung mit seinen zeitlosen und außergewöhnlichen Designs nicht nur in seinem Heimatland, sondern auch bei internationalen Designern für Aufsehen. Die beiden jungen Designer und Gründer von Schwung, Dominique Sente aus Belgien und Rudi Nijssen aus den Niederlanden, sagen, dass sie „von unserer Leidenschaft beeinflusste Formen schaffen, die eine Balance zwischen technischen und ästhetischen Lösungen suchen und finden“.
Schwung-Lampen werden in Europa handgefertigt, die Leuchten bestehen aus massivem Messing. Die Glaskugeln bestehen aus sehr hochwertigem mundgeblasenem Borosilikatglas, dünn und leicht wie Seifenblasen, aber widerstandsfähig und stark wie Laborglas. Dieses außergewöhnliche Glas, hierzulande auch Jenaer Glas genannt, sorgt sowohl für einen stilvollen Auftritt in einem klassisch-modernen Ambiente als auch für eine angenehme Raumbeleuchtung. Die meisten Schaukelleuchten sind dimmerkompatibel und werden mit Verlängerungsstangen geliefert, sodass sie an unterschiedliche Raumhöhen angepasst werden können.
